Lexus Test Driver
I saw the first new RX in Estonia yesterday

My jaw dropped for like half a second and then I realized I have to take some photos of it. These pics are taken with an iPhone.
It looked really great in person.

data2009, great pictures for showing the different colors the paint reflects. When I bought my, I didn't know there was actually a fleck in the paint. Been happy with the car and the color. thanks for posting them. lof

I maybe biased, of course, but I think 2010 RX looks best in dark colors. Since my wife did not want black, Sapphire Black is a perfect combo. We both like blue, but at night and in a shade, it appears black. Winning combo, and of course, I happened to think it looks best in this color.
Keeping it nice and shiny is another story... Every visit to a car wash is like a torture, since I end up spending half-hour at least buffing the swirl marks and hairline scratches. I should either give it a rest, or start thinking about having it hand-waxed every month or so. Oh, I would not mind doing this myself, but with 2 small kids, more than 1 hour of 'free time' is a luxury I do not have.

Thanks. I like this color more and more. One of my neighbors has 2008 RX in a dark blue, but two are nothing alike, and I like mine 100% more.

According to the local dealership, Truffle is their most asked for color for the RX. Blue; their least. When we picked up our RX, it was part of a 20 vehicle shipment, and every color was in the shipment. Only the gold was disappointing.

Thanks! Black was my choice for interior color, but since's it's the wife's car, she got to pick and I was outvoted.

You got it. I think now you understand how the color actually changes with the light. To give it a cleaner look, remove the lexus and rx350 from the rear (use a hair dryer). Good luck with the with the vehicle!
