One step closer to purchase. However, one of the salesmen told us that all RX350s at some production date forward are going to have the backup sensors (at least all cars ordered for the southwest region) - the beeping things to tell you how close you are to smacking a wall or another car. The other dealer we talked to didn't have the foggiest idea about this. Anyone on here know what the deal is?
Thanks!

I'm not sure about the "beeping things," but I believe that all '10 RXs have a rear view monitor now. Cars with the Nav system get the image on the big screen, just like always (which means since 2004) and cars without a NAV get the image on the left third of the rear view mirror, which is smaller but very cool.

The beeping thing is the parking sensor, not the backup camera. Two different things. I don't think the parking sensors are on many cars, but a backup camera is in either the nav or rearview mirror (maybe not on a base model).

Southwest region dealers all told Lexus to dump the glass breakage sensor / remote start on the packages and add park sensors. It probably won't show up for a few more months though.
