RXSF, you speak the truth. The tires were 3.5 to 4 PSI higher than what the manual specifies. I lowered the pressure and will report back on any differences tomorrow.

Thx John. Be sure you measure them cold... best time is first thing in the morning before you drive. RXSF has it right though... whenever I buy a car, pressure is always high.

Wish TPMS is set with the right value of tire pressure by the factory. And, your dealer didn't reset it based on that higher pressure.

Proper tire pressure did help. It is a bit less bouncy over really rough roads. But unfortunately it's not quite as smooth as the older one. I suspect it's the 19" tires combined with the weight of the vehicle. But it's certainly an improvement with the proper tire pressure.

on the tire pressure--this will be no surprise but in 07 I bought a pontiac hardtop convertible--the next morning I checked the tire pressure which was around 20 pounds around--figuring it was GM.....
The car was totalled when a Cab hit me so i replaced it withthe 335 HTC--that one had 30 pounds front and 39 rear on the run flats--could not figure that out.
the lesson is you cannot abdicate responsibility and becareful who you trust.
the RX 450h is a nice combo with the 335 HTC

I believe your BMW 335 convertible has sport package with 18 x 8.0 front, 18x 8.5 rear; 225/40R-18 front, 255/35R-18 rear performance run-flat performance tires. To cut down oversteering you need to put more air in the rear ones.
Yes, 335i and RX450h...perfect combo.
