Slip Indicator is on...
When stopping on traffic light, my Slip Indicator is on and flashing...
The Owner's Manual says:
If the vehicle is in danger of slipping or rolling backward when starting on an incline, or if any of the drive wheels spins, the slip indicator light flashes to indicate that the VSC/TRAC systems are operating.
Luckily, it only happened once... otherwise, I'll roll back to the dealership in the very first day I picked up my car...

I triggered this Hill-start assist control.
Owner's Manual PAGE 235.
Hill-start assist control helps to prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards when starting on an incline or slippery slope.
To engage hill-start assist control, further depress the brake pedal when the vehicle is stopped completely.

I've noticed the same at traffic lights it happened 3-4 times. I just figured out that if you press on the brake pedal too hard, even at a stop the traction light comes on. Is this the way its suppose to be?

I believe so. Based on the terms "...further depress the brake pedal when the vehicle is stopped completely...", it's supposed to be like this way...

I have a 2013 RX350 that I purchased last month. The slip indicator came on 2-3 times for me so far. My odometer reads 1500 miles and I was wondering whether I should take the car to the dealer to get it checked for any fault. The video link posted by Dous possibly explains why it came on.
What I am writing to ask is whether "Hill Assist" is a feature available in the base package or whether it is part of the navigation and premium packages that I have purchased. If it is none of the above, it means I have to take the vehicle to the shop.

for those with '10-'11 still with OEM tires, it may be time for replacement. with colder/wetter weather, older tires will experience less traction. recently there was a good article [actually reminder] about usefulness of tire based on the age and not how much tread left on the tire. typically less than 5-6 years from manufacture date is recommended for safe operation.
how to read/find; on the sidewall, there is a four digit #, first two is week and last two will be year it was manufactured. for example, '3110' will be 31 week of year 2010.
