Got Mine!!! '10RX350 AWD - Truffle Mica.

Actually, I'm ok with those issues for now. Not the big deals. Since I promised to write the "report", here we go... If I really cannot stand with them, I'll replace RX10 with something else. Maybe I will get more problems when choosing ML350, X5, Cayenne V6/V8... who knows!? There is no perfect car here.
Hope my next SUV will be better, and it will definitely be Hybrid (maybe with the choice of stiffer suspensions).
To answer your questions... (by the dealer)
Normal. Lexus suspensions are just like that.
Normal. This engine is more powerful and a little louder than its predecessors'.
Normal. They will report this quality issues to the headquarters, and try their best to adjust/fix my RX if I want them to.
(No wonder why Toyota is one of the biggest losers in the 1st Q this year. Quality quality quality...)

it will be a great car once the problems are ironed out--hope I live long enuf!
two remaining problems--key fob access does not work well. When I touch the doorhandle it is suppossed to unlock--does so 1/3 the time--(the 2010 rx worked flawlessly when I tried it)
rattle in dashboard

Is your rattle in dashboard happening in all ranges of speed on your BMW? My Cayman has this problem in high RPM above 4K... I can ignore that, too... The dealer said they can add some felt materials to stop them... it's easy. Well, let's see.

all speeds, any bump in road
ticks me off--its quiet except for that--if it was a ragtop the road noise would drown out the rattle--but it is a hardtop convertible.
I do get 28 mpg highway 21 in city and thats the 335--when I get the 450h I am pretty well set up for fuel economy and all purpose cars.
I would have gotten the 250 convertible but that just came out and I needed that car last year.

That's the point!!! Opening the windows/roof or turning on the music will help reduce whatever annoying rattles or "noise". I am looking for the quietness on RX. Unfortunately, it doesn't meet my expectation at this moment. But this car is still good on many other aspects. I'll wait and see...

Duh--I know about opening the window :-)
Our expectations should be on any car to be defect free--regardless of price the car should work according to specs.
A Chevy Malibu should be as defect free as a Lexus es 350 althought the lexus 350 should perform better viz a viz engine, tranny, stereo etc.
Same diff with say the Chevy Equinox vs the rx350--both should get you from point to point, period, without problems-- although the Rx should do so with more pizazz and safety and performance etc.
the fit and finish items you mentioend woth your rx or my problems with my bimmer are uncharacteristic or should be, and if you think about it, the substandard quality of the US big 3 helped lead to their problems. The engineering design and price structure did not help either. Which is why Lexus and Toyota left the US guys in teh dust.
The problem is whether Hyundai is a real challenger to Toyota or is Toyota (Lexus) getting lazy?
