I installed it and it does have some give on the sides and the second pic that you showed is just to solution for it. Thanks again.

Let me add my thanks to Mike for his notes and pics. Although I don't have the cover installed in my car, I thought the very clear photos and the tip to add some felt stickers to be just the kind of great help and advice that makes this board one of the best ever.
God save this board and the honorable Lexus.

Just bought a 2011 Rx350 and unfortunately if we don't want to use it, there is no where in car to stow, plus the darned thing squeaks. Unfortunately, its sister the Toyota Highlander has a slot under the cargo carpet to take it off and stow - but not Lexus.
