'09ML350 was one of choices in my final list. It handles rides and turns pretty well, and is more responsive on handling and controlling. Also, I can feel its center of gravity is much better than RX, which improves the riding as well. RX may be shaky in bumpy roads and have more body-rolling issues. I chose it due to its quietness, comfort, and smoothness, with the better Navi.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm encouraged that I may see an improvement over time. There's no doubt it's smoother with the current pressure. The thing is, I don't recall this on the test drives. But perhaps I just wasn't paying close enough attention, or the dramatic difference in quality between the RX and my old car was enough to offset any problems. Not to mention most of the test drives were on 18" tires.

Lexus may be ahead in many technological areas, but suspension is not one of them. Lexus try to make the new RX handle better, the result is a stiffer ride. Lexus have yet to be able to design a suspension that handles well and ride smoothly.

My wife chose the RX for pretty much the same reasons. Also, the RX was a 2010, the ML a 2009 (we trade often). And Lexus had a local dealer; MB did not. We both also felt the RX had a much less "austere" interior than the ML.

This is where Lexus did their homework with targeting customers. They know they cannot win over the performance segment, so they target females and the older generation who value reliability and comfortable ride over performance. The last time I check, female and senior citizens out number young and middle age men, this is why the RX continues to be the #1 selling luxury crossover in the market. I am just surprise no one have caught onto Lexus's scheme yet. There is virtually no other SUV on the market that is consider a direct competition for the RX. You can say Lexus have the market corner.

Tried to reset the TPWS. The manual says to use a TPWS reset button. However, my car doesn't have this button installed

How am I suppose to reset the TPWS??? The tire pressure warning light has now turned on after a lowered the tire pressure to 34psi.

It's way underneath power-steering-wheel... almost right above pedals. You won't see it if bowing down. You probably have to lie down or put your car in the higher position in order to find that button.

You were right! The button is there but buried near the foot pedals. The manual was not clear at all as to the button location, and I got completely confused
