How long did you wait? Six weeks and counting and still no sign of an RX

They'll also be doing my F1 tints for $100 both windows. Will check if they're including the winglets.
These are Canadian prices by the way.

yes, it is a photo of the 450h; did i say it was a regular 350? anyways, i beg to differ: the aurora white on the 450h is very noticeably different to the tungsten pearl (silver). if you see get a chance to see it in person, you'll know what i mean.

I called a local shop who does Ventureshield and they're quoting me $300 bumper only; $860 full hood, fenders and mirrors; $250 24" hood, fenders and mirrors. Debating if I should do full hood or 24" hood.

to save money, i'd just do the 24" hood. i mean how often do you get rock chips on the upper part of the hood anyways??? rock chips are usually on the front part of the hood (closest to the bumper). yeah, it's a lot of money, but then at least you can drive worry free.

no prob! and before winter rolls around, i'd also recommend you do rust proofing. yes lexus comes with rust perforation protection, but the amount of salt and other de-icing chemicals used in ontario would be a concern for me. some extra protection certainly wouldn't hurt, and another side benefit would be to make the car even more quiet than it already is (rust proofing layer has some sound dampening effect). if you plan to do this, find a reputable aftermarket vendor that does this (dealer will charge you an arm and a leg to do the same thing).

sorry to hear that. if someone wants to egg a car, there's nothing you can do to prevent that (short of guarding your car 24/7). as for rock chips, the damage is usually at the front.

I ordered an RX with the Lux Pkg and Heads up display on 5 May. I was also told it would be built in Japan and would take 8 to 10 weeks for delivery.
The dealer gave me a 2010 RX350 with Nav system to use until mine came in.
Still haven't got a build date but I'm certaintly nenjoying the loaner !
