I transferred my XM account from MDX to RX. It took them 3 days to get it straight. But it takes about 15-20 minutes to get it activated. Be patient. It should work. You can also try sending a reset to your XM radio when you log in to your account, The drawback is your car and XM radio must be on.

Does anyone have the problem of losing signal under every overpass. I have factory installed sirius on my 2009 RX. My self installed starmate4 in my Avalon rarely losses asignal unless I am passing under a series of overpasses.

It's very annoying considering what I paid for the installation.

I lose my signal constantly, due to rain, clouds, trees, overpasses, tunnels, etc.

this is the nature of sat radio-remember you need a line of sight from sat to your antenna.

Sirius has its sats drectly overhead--xm has them lower in the sky--so tall buildings affect xms and overpasses sirius'.


I do not know if on their merger last year if they are using all sats as one.

They both use "repeaters" for downtown locations and for other areas to help underpasses.
