Default Saw a 3gen RX350 Loaner today!

The title pretty much says it all. It really amazed me when I saw a silver RX350 from my local lexus dealer on the street today, with the white lettering n the back window "Lexus of Serramonte Courtesy Car"

Never ceases to amaze me how generous they are with loaner cars

Maybe it was the demo car before? With the high mileage? Or this dealer has too many RX10 in their lot? Amazing, I'm new to this, this car is brand new, only a few months in the market.

Or this car is specially for the possibly new owners to test drive!?

It already had plates on it. And that usually takes a up to a month after buying a car. I know he RX went on sale in Feb so its been a good 4 months. And i also know they only use RXs and ESs as loaners so im not really that surprised.

I wish serramonte had IS or GS loaners.... but at least its not a corolla or something. I hear some dealerships in other states even give out IS-Fs ...

I got a 2009 RX350 as a loaner the other day. YUCK. 2010 to 2009 model are light years apart in design. I felt as though I was sitting in a car from the 80s. Cheap leather, way too many buttons, flimsy arm rest, steering wheel adjustment was jerky at best, took 10 mins to find the hidden mirror controls...just wow.

Wish I could have drove a 3RX instead. On the loaner topic what cars do they usually have? Anyone get an IS before?

My dealer has IS, ES, RX, GS, and LS (2006-2009) as the loaner. No hybrid.

MY BMW dealer gives the customer (who bought from them) the same cars as the customer bought.

Local Lexus dealer has two 2010 RX350's in their loaner fleet. Their fleet consists primarily of RX and ES vehicles with a few IS250's thrown in. Lately, the loaner cars have all had NAV. No hybrids or 460's.

Even the same year? I don't see any other dealers doing this yet. Porsche cannot do it, either.

Default Loaners

New here...I just wanted to chime in about my loaner...a 2010 RX 350 with 500 miles on it. No plates yet!

My 2007 has been at Lexus for a week now. It had a pretty major issue. The 2010 drives like a dream. The interior is very impressive. I think that they generate loyalty by loaning these out, although it will be a little tough to get back in my 2007.

Really amazing. I guess some owners getting this loaner may not resist the lure of this new RX.

Your dealer is really making this marketing works steps further.

Yep, guaranteed these loaners are targeted to folks who have RXs that are 3-4 years old. I'm sure the loaners went into the fleet shortly after the car was released, putting a 2RX owner in a new loaner is the most effective marketing that a dealer has.

Brought my 2007 IS350 into the dealer for the first time today. I had to have 3 campaings done.

My loaner was a 2009 Toyota Corolla. I was under the impression that Lexus only loaned out Lexus vehicles, I guess I was wrong.

Anyone know of any dealers in Phoenix that loan out Lexus? If I am buying a luxury car I would much rather be loaned a luxury car and not some $15,000 beater.

Yeah my dealer is now giving 2010 loaners. My loaner has about 900 miles. She has Nav, Premium Audio, and 19s but no HIDs. She certainly is a nice improvement over the 2gen. I imagine this one will sell very well too!

I REALLY like remote touch and the upgraded nav with traffic and weather. Though it is annoying how every time my I turn it on she warns me about severe weather. Gale winds over the pacific.... Luckily now there is a heat warning she is giving too.
