I posted this on the LS thread with no replies but am hopeful that you 2010 RX folks have a similar set up and can answer this:
Ok, after almost 2 years of ownership, I found out that my LS460 (with NAV but not ML) will play home burned CD-Rs with MP3 files. That's the good news. The bad news is that while the screen indicates the ability to recognize multiple folders, mine only seems to recognize 1 folder even if more than 1 are on a disc. And even if I put more than 20 songs in 1 folder, it only reads the 20 songs.
Any operational "how to do this" info would be appreciate

Turns out the problem is that some of my files are MPEG4. When I limit the discs to MP3 it works great as expected. Now I need to figure out how to convert MPEG4 to MP3.

I'm sure there's an easier way, but if you burn them all as Audio file (AIFF) first on a CD then import them into iTunes as MP3.. then burn again as MP3 CD.. I know I know, but this is the only way I know... I'm all ears too.
