btw, the tan color is much darker than it is shown on their website.
Find other providers if you can.
Did you get the WeatherTech All-Weather mats or the DigitalFit floor liners?

I got the All-Weather mats and they are heavy as were my 2005 RX mats.
As far as the bends, I'm sure they'll level out in a day or two. I had a note with my cargo liner that it would.

I aggree with you on floor mats and like I said on the previous post, I had no problem with the floor mats, they were heavyduty and made of good quality of rubber, however, DigitalFit floor liner is another story, they are hard, plastic, and light, very cheezy for the price they ask.

Sorry to hear about your disappointment. I think the lightweight nature of these liners (not the mats) adds to their uniqueness. THey fit the contours very nicely (yes, mine were contorted too in the box, but have since "unfolded" as it were). The fact that it has the eyelets to fit the stock brackets is great. This will protect the carpet much better than the stock mats we had. THe material reminds me of Samsonite luggage shell. Lightweight, but quite durable. IMHO, not cheezy, but modern. I like mine....too bad I have mine now otherwise I'd buy your set.

My question is after we 'saved' the original mat, what can we do to them? Let it rot in the garage, sell it, or use it as door mat?

Rot in the garage? You must be in Houston. I predict a sudden increase in listings on ebay for OEM mats
Personally,we're keeping ours because I'm a packrat.

I installed my new mats and they are great. The fronts even came with pre-punched holes to anchor.

Hey CoDraw,
Could you post some picks of your Tan Digital liners? I, too, have the beige interior and was thinking of Tan.
Although, after seeing 4482's pics of the grey mats on beige, I might consider that color.
It sounds like the Weathertech website colors aren't too accurate.

There you go, good luck with your choice.

with the quality of the weathertech liners, I will definately change it back to floor mats as soon as the weather permits.

Excellent pics, thanks. I see what you mean about the lack of fit. Hopefully, they will "settle down" and develop a new memory. It looks like "Afpj"s liners fit much better. Perhaps you should send these pics to Weathertech.

Default Weather Tech vs. Husky Liners

I have the Weather Tech custom fit liners and they are fine. The Husky liners were not available when I ordered my liners, or I would have picked Husky. That is not to say the Weather Techs are bad, I just like Husky better.
