Angry Engine Cover Removal

Okay...I give up. Anyone know how to remove the silver engine cover on a 2010 RX 350?

You need to rotate the lexus emblem counterclockwise (assuming it is the same as a RX 300)

Default Engine Cover Removal

Thanks for the reply Mikey000. They must have changed it for 2010 because the emblem on the cover does not move. I'll try a dealer tomorrow.

I don't remember the page number in the main manual but it shows how if you understand 'their' logic.

Anyway you'll notice all those plastic buttons. It works so well I already lost one . Just for laughs and giggles, I pulled the right panel over the fuse box off. Push down on the center of a button and it will push in. Don't leave it on there, that's how I lost one. Carefully pull it out and put it in a safe place. When you push the button in far enough it will pop down and become loose so you can pull it out. There are several. Then just lift the top off. Before replacing them, hold the button with two fingers (it's small) and push the stem down hard on a counter top until it pops back above the button, then insert it back into the panel hole and push the button flat. You might have to fiddle with the 1st one or two, but it's like sex the 1st time, you figure it out . OMG, I need another glass of wine. Oh well, that will get it done. Good luck.
