Tri-State Pricing '10 RX
Hiya.....well lease is up in 2 weeks on 07 RX350....wow, it went so fast...
At any rate, was inquiring about new 2010 RX350 with dealer here in Suffolk County , Long Island, NY. For the RX AWD + Premium + Comfort + NAV, he said the MSRP was $46,593. For the buy price, I was quoted $43,800. I will be leasing it, so that is the capitalized cost.
I think right now the #s came in @ $605 per month with $3300 down which includes taxes (roughly $1850) , first payment ($605) and a bank fee of like $800 bux.
My 2 questions are:
1) What is the dealer cost on this SUV , equiped as mentioned above?
2) Does the Audi Q5 or even a loaded Toyota Highlander Limited (everything but rear seat entertainment $MSRP $39,600) compare to the new 2010 Lexus RX350?
btw, the sales associate mentioned that lexus is having its big sale in august and supposedly pricing comes down.....hopefully the money factor does as well....I think its like 5.14% right now!
Thanx in advanced for all responses.

Anywhere in the 3-3.5% would be a good start to get the lease price lower. Ofcourse, lowering the cap cost to around 42,000-42,500 would be great too! Last but not least, I think the residual is @ 59% (12k miles per year) and that has remained the same from the 2007 RX350 I leased in july 07.

$41.5K-$42.5K should be pretty close to the dealer's (or sale rep) bottom line. I guess.
I don't know if Lexus would make any strategy changed since RX10 has pretty stable sales records so far.

I'm not sure if Lexus indeed decreases the prodcution, if so, this might also affect how Lexus is going to sell their cars.
