I took my 2010 RX in for the bumper issue a few days ago. Came by to pick it up today. Odom reading is approx 120+ miles more than when I dropped it off.
I am not a happy camper. Still waiting for Service to call me back and explain.
Has anyone here experienced this and what was the outcome?

Unless of course you can think of a legitimate reason they drove maybe 50 or 60 miles each way to a body shop or could be mistaken about the mileage.
That was a long lunch trip or demo (neither of which is acceptable) if it wasn't legit or mistaken. I wouldn't be a happy camper either. And neither would the service manager be a happy camper if it couldn't be explained. Road testing bumper clips for 120 miles doesn't cut the mustard.
Please let us know what you find out.

check your service receipt. with all your name info and Vin and address on the top, there should be an Odometer In/Out record. That is the only way you are going to be able to argue as proof if that does show the 120 mile record

I'll act the same as what Jim said above. Usually I paid super attention with my odometer. The SVC advisor should explain to you right at the moment you picked up the car. This Lexus SVC dept. got some issues there.

So far, I had agreed to let the manager look into the details. They had faxed me a doc stating mileage in/out. Looks like someone is altering the numbers. How do I know? I can do the math. Lexus really needs to watch what they are providing to me at this point. They are digging a deeper hole. Will keep you all posted. If they are found to be at fault. I will make it my 2nd job to reveal their shady activities.
