Do you like the braking of your RX?
so i've had a chance to drive a little bit a few nights ago (had to drop off my wife and her sister to go shopping downtown), and i can say that the braking performance is OK, but not great. i guess i'm so used to the braking on my GS, that i expect the same kind of braking response and feel on the RX.
does anyone know what kind of brakes we have in our RX? is it a 2 pot? if money becomes available, i would seriously consider swapping in a bbk. on a side note, anyone know if a bbk would fit under oem 19" wheels?

had my rx 2 weeks now, just returned from lunch where i found myself still occasionally lunging forward during some of my braking
brakes are definitely more sensitive than my last vehicle
would of thought i'd adjusted to them by now
the 1st inch of pedal travel seems more sensitive the than remainder to me
the accelerator also seems slightly over sensitive to me

Let me note that brake feel between the gas and hybrid version are different.
But yes, lexus brakes still cannot mimick the feel of a german car, and the pedals are much more easily pushed down, the pressure is way too sensitive.

this is not a complaint rather than its just very different from my previous car.
i had a Renault Megane before and its brakes were super sensitive and the car really stopped very quickly from the slightest touch to the point of harshness.
it took me a few weeks to adjust to the RX brakes, which to me feel very soft and gradual and need to be pressed further down. i have to say i like the way the RX brakes feel better overall.

I drive a GS 350 2007 and I had a 2010 RX loaner last week and the brakes were not bad, but they were not modulated to be as sensitive as the GS. I felt like the brakes in the GS were a bit grabby after driving the RX for a couple of days
