Also though, heck, I want something nicer at this stage in life, but don't want to be in the shop all the time with a European ride.. Glad I bought it in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 lockdown.. it was cheap! Now prices are crazy and cannot fin cars with a decent amount of miles either.
How neat! I came from driving an Acura TL! So happy I bought my RX in 2019!!!

2015 RX350 AWD
152,500 Miles

Made some poor financial mistakes. Had a 2022 BMW X5. The RX has a pretty good service history. A little nervous about owning a car with so many miles. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and reading about these reliable vehicles.

You are safer to take an old Lexus with 150K miles than a newer BMW

Been 4 months since I got my wife a 2010. Overall we like the car, instead of calling out the good (since the list can be long) I want to share some of my no so good:
1) mpg is really not that good. Display usually shows about ~17 - 18mpg. We got about 290 miles per tank before every fill up. I found the tank is a little small
2) When driving at night, I notice many areas/buttons are not lighted. Overhead buttons, cruise control, temp control (on 2010, temp control is not even Red/Blue )
3) cup holder lid is not 100% open, the door sits at an angle that prevent me to use a regular soda cup.
4) no 12v outlet for rear seat
5) some interior has thin "leather", such as center armrest, nav joystick pad
6) sunroof opening is a bit small

Not sure if anyone feel the same

Not much to worry about. At that mileage the previous owner took care of some expensive stuff, like replacing spark plugs at 120k, which las another 120k miles, and replace fluids and such. Just enjoy the car. You might need some suspension components at some point but overall this car is not needy- not even close to a BMW. And surely you made the right move.

I cannot say is the perfect car as I feel it lacks refinement, but I like it because it does not give me drama and I don't have to take it to the service all the time.

Agree with some things, especially the poor quality leather. Regarding the lights, you probably have some burnt bulbs. I believe everything lights up on my 2011.

Hey Friends, long time reader, first time poster.
2013 RX 350 AWD
124,000 miles
Obsidian/Black
And it has stuff.

Just picked this one up in June 2022 after crashing the Q5 (crazy story). Service tech at Toyota dealer says I got a good one. Used to drive a 2010 RX until I gave it to my daughter, that's what dads do.
Want to say I've learned so much from this forum including: Replace the hood and hatch struts, changing battery, various hints for settings, and more. Thanks and make it a great day!

Don, how did you like the Q5? I find myself always wanting one. Not only the looks, but the nice interior and seats and german ride. But then I remember about the expensive services and having to add oil and all that, and I keep driving my RX

Gardel, I did like it for the reasons you mention (the 2.0L Turbo is sweet), and also did not like it for the potential $$ repairs.

The Audi SUVs are indeed gorgeous inside and out, but the cost of long-term ownership (frequent / expensive repairs, even when DIY) has always kept me from bringing one into our stable. I will stick with my trusty 2013 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited.

I just bought a 2015 Lexus RX 350 in perl with the Comfort, Navigation, DVD Premium Audio, Tow Prep, 19" wheels and Premium packages with 138k on the odometer. I haven't driven it much yet but so far it seems very comfortable and I'm enjoying the high end features.

They are a really nice automobile, enjoy!
I ended up taking the Lexus 19 inch wheels off that came on mine, and installed the stock 18 inch wheels with appropriate size tires. I thought it made a significant difference in ride quality.

Default Great buy

We have had two of that generation. I traded the 2013 RX 450H for a truck to pull our travel trailer. We still have the 2014 RX350 and I really prefer it. At only 88,000 miles it looks and drives like new. I replaced the rear shocks last year when one of them was leaking KYB makes a perfect one and it really may be the OEM shock. When you do brakes put power stop drilled and slotted rotors on it with the original pads and the brakes will be fantastic. Don’t bother with Lexus Enform as the phone module is 3G and no longer works. Enjoy the ride for a long time!
