Alpy, there are several versions of (Lexus)remote starting. The factory remote start allows you to use your Lexus key fob to remote start your car by pushing the lock button multiple (3) times and holding it down and the car locks the doors and the engine starts. Useful in both cold and hot climates. You leave the temperature control either very warm in the winter or very cold in the summer when you get out of the car. Then when you remote start, the cabin get warmed up or cooled down before you get in. The OEM remote start is distance limited to say 100 feet(?) or less. Stand in your house and start it in the drive way sort of distance.
Third party remote starts give you an additional key fob that has an improved distance option of 1000(s) of feet.
Another third party remote start gives you unlimited distance using cell phone technology. If you and the car have cel service you can start the car. This and other remotes can lock and unlock the doors, open and close the tailgate, and with additional options open and close windows or moonroof.
Literally, the sky's the limit.

Just bought a 2010 RX350 from the original owner over the weekend. It's tungsten pearl with grey interior, 19" wheels, heated/cooled seats, backup camera, and parking sensors. It has 31000 miles on it, nearly perfect condition, and we paid $31k. Has had every service performed on schedule at the Lexus dealer. The seller also gave us a Magellan navigation unit that he said he wouldn't be able to use in his next vehicle. Since it was a private-party sale, there's no sales tax in Georgia. I'll try to post pictures later this week.
We were originally set on an '08-'09 RX because we didn't like the new body style. On a fluke we decided to test drive a 2010 CPO RX a few weeks ago and found that we really liked the interior improvements. We have three kids between 10 and 17, so a little bit of extra room goes a long way. The front seats with the higher console instead of the armrests on the seats make it a lot more comfortable for me. I never felt as comfortable in any of the 2nd gen RX's we test drove as I did in our old ES.
We're keeping our '97 ES300 that now has 267,000 miles on it. We bought it in '01 with 56000 miles and it has been an excellent vehicle. We intend to have the RX at least as long as we've had the ES.
Below is our new car in Charleston, SC, over the weekend.

New to the Lexus family. Picked up my RX450h in Hong Kong over the weekend. Needed something to take my kids around and this was by far the best choice from the pool I looked at.
Mine is the Sport Deluxe version. (we don't have so many packages to choose from here). You can see what the differences are in the link below.

Welcome to CL, brendan. Thanks for posting a picture of your new 450h. I was reading through the specs in the link you provided. LED headlights standard on all 450hs? That's cool. Have fun in your new RX.

Contrats, great looking car. You'll love the mileage and performance. I have to ask, are those the standard 18" wheels? I've not seen them stateside on the 450h.

Asian markets get the 2.7 liter 4 cyl engine to meet the stricter overseas taxes that are calculated based on CO2 emissions.
Its the same engine found in the highlander and Sienna
