2014 RX 450h AWD

A little bit about myself. Have owned a 1982 Toyota Cressida and 1987 Supra Turbo in the past. But my last car was a 2002 Camry with 49K (not a typo) miles on it that developed stripped threads in the block (TSB0015-11). Toyota refused any assistance with the repair so I bought this Hybrid SUV.
Dang, thank god I had a 32-year software engineering background before I retired, this thing is like a computer. Still trying to read the 3" of manuals. Pretty happy and excited so far.

I'm sort of a Toyota fan myself starting with an 84 Camry, an 88 Camry, a 91 MR2 (which I still own), a 99 Camry Solara, a 04 RX330 and now a 14 RX350. MY RX350 is also Nebula Grey. I'm sure you will love it but there is a lot of electronics to get used to. Also Lexus dealerships normally all have a technology specialist there to help you with things.
Do drop by the Automotive Care & Detailing forum and see what others are doing to keep their rides clean and shiny. I'd especially advise anyone with lighter leather to apply a leather protectant to avoid dye transfer stains which can be permanent.

New Owner of 2013 RX350.
Hi, just bought the 2013 lexus rx350. Picking it up tomorrow at dealership. for now, im enjoy watching a video on youtube with the same color as my car. let me know what you guys think. will post picture as soon as i get it. so excited.

Only replacement was OEM filter for K&N filter. Just put brand new tires Nitto, and so far a very good ride out of these.

New 2014 RX 450h
Hey guys I just picked up my brand-new 2014 Lexus RX450h FWD and I am absolutely loving it. I can't believe how good my mileage is at 29.2 MPG for its first tank of gas. I originally wanted to buy a used RX but after looking at a lot of them that just didn't do it for me I decided to go new and I'm really glad that I did. The new one just feels better to drive than say a 2010 model. Nothing against 2010 models though. If there's one thing I just really don't like about this newer RX is that stupid fake motor noise. The older ones are so much better in that regard. Being an iPhone user I am really enjoying the new Siri Eyes Free feature. I really hate stop and go traffic on the freeway but owning an RX hybrid just made me smile at it knowing that I was getting just as good of gas mileage if not better than if there was no traffic at all. I'm glad to be a part of this group of RX hybrid owners.
