We looked at lexus dealers but prices on this color combination, year and features were a bit too high. We almost pulled a trigger on one but we saw this suv at a "superstore" in Oakville. We decide to check it out and the price was just too great to resist everything-considered so we got it.
The earlier years of the RAV4 you could get a V6 and the top of the line Limited got the 3rd row. I think my 2007 was the last one that had the V6 and 3rd row. After that they are only 4 cylinders. Thats one of the reasons why we did not go back to the RAV4.

Bought my wife a 2015 RX this weekend
I bought myself a RC350 F Sport in September last year. I love it. My wife wanted a new(er) vehicle and thought she wanted a new Rav4...until she test drove it. Only a 4 banger and had no power. My wifes vehicle was a 2008 Rav4 sport with 4WD and a V6.
Long story short...I had suggested to her to look at the RX350. She found one this past Saturday. 2015 RX350 39K miles, Gray, Saddle leather seats, park assist, BSM and it was a pre owned cert. 3 yrs & 2 months for the bumper to bumper warranty. 20K miles of free service that would include the 60K service :-). Since it's cert pre owned, it has new tires & new brakes.
They wanted 29900 for it. we got it for 29500 OTD and got a GREAT deal on trading her car in...2008 Rav4, 149000 miles and was in a fair condition. The power train is what got us more for it. Motor and transmission were flawless and ran like it.
She LOVES it so much!!!

Congrats !!!!! and welcome.
Mine situation is so similar to yours. I bought my IS350 in September last year, we used to have (well is for sale now) a 2007 Rav4 V6 3row and just got an 2014 RX fully loaded.

Had a 2003 Toyota Highlander that got rear ended and completely totaled out. Even snapped the ball right off my trailer hitch. Had to get something new, but affordable for me. Ended up with a 2010 RX350 AWD with 138,000 miles on it. Color is Truffle Mica
It has the following options:
Tow Package
Comfort PKG
heated/cooled seats
rain sensing auto wipers
Navigation system
Premium PKG
Premium Audio
ASL
AWD
Auto High beams
and probably a bit more
I do have only the 18 inch wheels, which is ok with me, especially on bumpy roads.
I have been working on getting it back into shape.
Window Tint
New Tiers
New shocks
New rear front seat backs. (old ones where broken)
New struts for hood and hatch
Spark plugs
Transmission oil
Transsexual oil
Installation of trailer brake controller
and so on.
2010 RX350 AWD
Parts temporarily removed to add trailer brake controller

2015 RX350. Just bought a one owner CPO with 31000 miles. Traded in a 2007 RX that I’ve had for about 8 years and it’s been a great suv. Don’t know much detail about the new RX on equipment above stock. It is white with tan interior with AWD, navigation, and premium package. Have not explored all the cruise, Bluetooth and safety systems yet. Also have park assist, folding mirrors and blind spot mirrors but not certain if that was part of a package or stock. Have not taken delivery yet as dealer is doing CPO next maintenance and detailing.

2010 rx450h
Fully loaded with every available option except height adjustment suspensions. 125k miles but still drive like new. Just replaced the whole set of brake discs and pads with slotted and drilled. I also installed Curt trailer hitch with wire harness. Replaced the wheels with a set of 20” TSW Donington with 255/45 Continental DWS...solid and good on gas. Love to drive it, but I still have my Infiniti FX50S when I need Mr Hyde.

Awesome wheels! What's the width of the wheels and offset?

Just bought an off-lease 2015 AWD RX-350
Deep Sea Mica (w/saddle leather) and Nav. Clean Carfax, single owner, no accidents, perfect interior and exterior (passenger and rear seats look unused), lessee paid for paint protection and undercoating, has new brakes and tires, as well as winter floor mats. Knew that this was a unicorn, and "the one".
It's my love's new daily driver. Only thing prettier than the car... First non-GM car purchase of our lives. Hoping for the legendary Toyota/Lexus reliability, as we'll put 20k mi/yr on it, between her daily work commute, as well as periodic trips from MD to IA...
