Hi everyone! First time Lexus owner here. I just purchased a certified 2015 RX 350 with 51,000 miles. One owner, clean Carfax and serviced by the book.
  • Nebula gray with saddle tan interior
  • Comfort package
  • Navigation
  • All weather floor and cargo mats
  • 19" wheels
  • Parking assist
  • Premium package w/ BSM
  • Tow package
I just installed a Curt hitch for occasional light utility towing and looking to add interior LEDs. Glad to be part of the group that has so much knowledge and experience. I may have to consult you as my nearest dealer is 500 miles away.

Hello Team! I'm the chief maintainer and window washer for the wife's 'new' 2010 RX350. It is her first car and she's as proud of it as if it had rolled off the show room floor.

1. It is the RX350 version
2. No navigation, save her iPhone
3. Grey exterior and black interior.
4. Tinting mirrors and heated seats seem to be the only options I've noticed.
5. Not a sports model, though I'm not sure how to check that or what is entailed. Pretty sure it has 18 inch wheels if those are the standard.

I am looking at a Garmin 65 ta add GPS to it, with their wireless back up camera to add rear view, but need to come up with a 12v power port (aka cigarette lighter) somewhere near the dash, as the console power ports seem like 3rd world wiring when used to power a dash mount.

This is her first car ever, but she learned to drive on an older Pajero (think Montero) in the Philippines and Honda Odyssey here in the USA. Her heart has been pining for the RX350 for almost two years now. She finally pulled the trigger and could not be happier. We plan to add a tow hitch to it as well. Since it is parked outdoors, what is the recommended finish to help preserve the paint from the weather? We live in Washington State, so plenty of rain, with occasional sunny days, not really hard winters, but a bit of snow and ice just to accent the season when appropriate. We went with the AWD model due to the rainy weather and slick roads.

The only only other little ‘mod’ I’ve done to my RXh was swap out the halogen fog lights and installed some LED’s. I love the added range to my visibility at night.

Up next is going to be filling in the holes in the front bumper, and maybe eventually swapping it out completely for the style appearance/F sport bumper!

What brand of LED's did you get? There is so many weak ones out there and I want to get some good ones too.

Default Hello everyone.

Greetings to all.
Let me start by saying that this forum is great.
I am new to Lexus. I just picked up a 2011 RX 350.
I am coming from the world of German vehicles and the constant repairs ( at ridiculously high costs ) was killing me.
I needed something reliable that would also hold its value and look nice. I spent some time doing research and decided on the RX 350.
I also needed AWD. This vehicle has that , plus , navigation , remote start and just about everything I wanted except a dvd player and a tow package.
I can live without the dvd player and I can install the tow package later. So far , I LOVE this vehicle. It's black with black interior , 18 inch wheels and just looks classy.
I just purchased this on Monday and the only issue is with the suspension. I have contacted the dealer and will have them check it out tomorrow.
I was actually saving my pennies for a newer German vehicle , but , things kept breaking and it seemed that no matter how many things got fixed , more things ( or the same thing ) broke. This quickly depleted my funds and , meanwhile , my wifes Highlander was doing just fine , as usual.
That's when I decided , I'm getting a Toyota or a Lexus!
It feels great to have a car with everything working! AC that actually works! I'm really counting on Toyota reliability here.
I don't know how to check where it was built so if someone can point out things like that , I'd greatly appreciate it.
I'm all over the place with this. I just want to say , I'm happy to be here and I look forward to learning all I can.

Default 2011 rx350 from arizona

Hello,

Just got me a 2011 RX350 from original owner, clean car fax and in immaculate shape. It has a ton of miles of miles(154K) mostly highway, not a scratch on it, and the mileage doesn't scare me one bit as I know these cars will go forever, just about, and the price was just $9,900!!!
It is the pearl white, black interior and navigation. I love how smooth this car feels and looks. They tell me it's a women's car but I'm OK with my masculinity ..
Hope to learn much more about these beautiful machines here.

Izzy

Default Purchased a 2013 Lexus RX 350 with 76000 miles

Hi All,

After a lot of thinking and going back/forth, I purchased a preowned 2013 Lexus RX 350 with 76000 miles(satin exterior/beige interior) from a Lexus dealer for $19400. It is not Lexus certified. It had a single owner. This car was bought new from the same dealer by the previous owner. Also purchased the extended warranty for $3500 (5 years / 60K miles). Both front and rear brake pads/rotors were changed by the dealer. Tires have 75% life left.

Default First Time Lexus Owner

Hello. Great site! I am a first-time Lexus owner. Last week, I bought a used 2011 RX 450H with 99.970 miles on it. (It turned over 100,000 on the way home). However, after seeing many Toyota's in my family go over 100,000 miles, I know it's just "broken in" at this point. Here are the details:
With Navigation
Parking Assist and Remote Start
Tungsten Pearl with Gray Interior.
Comfort Package and Premium Package.

After owning a 2005 4Runner Sport Edition 4.7, the RX is definitely a step up in comfort. The seats are soft, but supportive. The ride surprisingly is on the firm side, but still better than the old 4Runner. I miss my slick 4.7 V8 at times, but I don't miss it's 15-17 MPG.

My previous Toyota vehicles were a 1990 Camry LE V6 (216,000 - sold), 1998 Tacoma 4x4 2.7 (183,000 - totaled),. a 2002 4Runner Sport Edition (201,100 and it could have gone 100,000 more if it wasn't totaled as well), and I still have my 2005 4Runner with 224,000 miles on it. I would have gotten a 5th gen 4Runner, but I think that generation got cheaper and doesn't have the V8. Overall, I am very impressed with RX and I have no doubts it will too make past 200,000.

My first Lexus and first forum post!

2011 RX350
Black on Black
Roof Rack
Navigation
19" 7-spoke rims
Not sure of the certain packages - has the vents in right front wheel well...does that mean it's got a pre-tow package?
Haven't needed them yet, but I can't wait to use the ventilated seats!

Need to get all weather mats - debating between OEM Lexus, weathertech, and Husky - any opinions out there?

Last car was a Mazda Tribute...ran that into the ground.

Congratulations and welcome to the club.

I have purchased Weathertech mats for two vehicles in the past and although they are pricey, I think that they are good quality. The only issue I've had with them is that the front mats lose their weather tech plastic decal badge quickly due to poor glue quality.
