Interesting phone behavior
I have just discovered a peculiarity with the two phones (mine and my wife's) I have paired to the Nav on our RX450h. Mine is the G1 phone while my wife's is a rather old and simple Motorola with bluetooth. The thing that is peculiar is that even though we sometimes choose the Motorola, the G1 seems to be the one that the Nav choses automatically after the ignition is turned off and then on again. We could have both phones (hand sets) in the car at the same time, but the system always selects the G1. In order to use the Motorola phone through the Nav we have to go through the menu and select that one specifically once are are in the car driving. I thought that the Nav was suppose to keep the phone that you last selected as the one to use. It will stay with the Motorola (if we select that one) until the car power button is turned off. When turned on again, it will automatically select the G1.
Has anyone else encountered anything like this? It is not a big deal, but I was just wondering.

I have it on mine--and my wife has a newer motorola and her contact list downloaded flawlessly--mine did not download but its the first choice even though it is to the right of my wifes on the screen--
someday I'll figure out why but since its her car ........

There is a few problems you may have.
1: The phone has the compatable to the 6gen Nav.
2: What i have found on the new 2010s is that witch ever phone is connect first. Will remain primary.
(Does not happen in all car's)

Thank you! I was not aware of this (whichever phone is first connected will be the primary phone). I thought that the Navigation System with the bluetooth phones was "an equal opportunity employer". And this is fine. No problem at all.

Yes, the situation of auto-detect and which phone is connecting first is definitely the reason why.
But if I remember right (and don't know if this holds true on the Gen6 nav), there is a driver profile selection. By using this driver profile selection, you may be able to easily set the default phone based on the driver profile. But I'm not sure if you can link these settings to a specific FOB.
