Hi,

My name is Pedro Lima from Brazil. I imported a 2010 Lexus RX350 AWD with Confort Package, Navigation System Package, Premium Package, Tow Prep Package, 12-speaker premium lexus.
i tried to order the Mark Levinson Package, and Luxury Package, but the dealer did not had in stock and had no preview for special orders like that.

When the car arrived here for me(last week), i figured out that the audio system that came with the car, does not play dvds. The salesman told me yesterday that only cars with mark levinson package can do this.

Does anyone know if you have is that any solution for this. Is that anything that i could do or buy to make play DVDS?
I also have here a Set Top Box for car (Digital TV). Is that possible to use on the screen: This set top box is conected via RCA input.

My car does not have the ML system, but does play DVD's. It's standard equipment along with the AM/FM and satellite XM radio, as far as I know.

Is your RX350 model 2010?
Where do you put the dvd? on the 6-disc cd player? I tried to put the DVD there, but it does not read.

Correction: My 2010 RX has a 6-disc CD player and not a DVD player. Sorry.
I have no idea if the ML system will play DVD's.

if you do not have ML audio, you cannot play DVDs. only ML audio comes with a 6 disc DVD changer.

the only solution would be adding an aftermarket DVD system, like alpine. this would have to be a custom install, so make sure the car audio shop you choose is reputable and able to do complex installations. good luck!
