Do you like your new RX2010?

I voted so-so based on driving a loaner for two days and about 210 miles of mixed driving. For being a "base" vehicle, it had some nice "goodies" but nothing that the 2nd gen RX330/350 did not have. It was definitely not good enough for me to give up my '99 for. I really had hoped the '10 would have had a 3rd row, even if it were just for kids.
I felt the overall cabin was quiet and pretty well isolated, but it's still a SUV after all. The engine noise got into the cabin a little too much for my taste.
Although the materials were nice to the touch, a few pieces seemed skimpier and less than luxurious. Several handles were much too "cheap plastic" feel and were definitely light weight plastic. The worst plastic piece being the flip down eyeglass holder door.
I understand the need to reduce weight on the vehicle, but that way the hood closing closed with this clunk that made me think the hood was made from tin foil or something. Did not give me a good feeling if the vehicle ever got into an accident.
We have an LS that has the smartaccess accessible from all doors, why does the RX only have the sensors on the front doors? No one will go to the back first and load children in?
My wife and I both felt that although it was nice, by virtue of being newer, if did not have the "umph" that made it a better vehicle than the previous generation. Evolutionary in a quirky manner and just strange enough that we did not like it.
