Squeal from steering wheel
Hi,
My RX450h steering wheel has developed a high pitch squeal and slight grindy feel/vibration in the wheel to it when turning 90 degrees or more, primarily to the left and upon returning to centre, but much less of a noise when turning right. Particularly audible at low speeds (e.g. moving around in a parking lot).
I'm convinced this noise was not there until about 1000 miles. Took it into service center, but they said they hadn't had enough experience with the RX450h to know whether the noise was normal or not.
Thanks,
Paul

If they can hear the sound too, ask them to demonstrate same sound to you on another car. Strange sounds as you described are not normal on any Lexus.
