Hi there,
My lease on my 2005 RX 330 ended and although I did not want another RX I couldn't decide on another vehicle and just had to decided quickly and ended up with a 2010 RX. When I test drove the 2010 I wasn't impressed at ALL. I actually disliked it a lot. But after driving it for a while I have grown to like it. The power is better, the handling is better (mainly due to 19inch wheels), the push button start is cool, the keyless entry is cool too, the driver seat moving back and forth when starting the vehicle is nice too. I leased from richmond lexus in BC
Things that I don't like compared to the 2005 and in general:
1. They got rid of the illuminated door sills in the front and rear
2. They got rid of the roof rack cross bars and painted the roof rails silver
3. They got rid of the chrome exhaust tip
4. The back privacy cover doesn't retract when you open the tailgate
5. They got rid of the lights from the interior door handles
6. The sunroof and homelink buttons are not illuminated and the vehicle is very dark at night and you can't find the buttons at night.
7. There is a bit of transmission whine going from 20km/h to 0km/h
8. When you put it in sport shift mode it always starts in 4th gear for some strange reason
9. The rear end is quite ugly even though the 2005 wasn't that great looking the 2010 is uglier I just hate clear taillights
10. I cant stop the side mirrors from tilting down like the 2005 but maybe i just dont know how to stop it
11. I dont like how the side mirrors are attached to the doors I liked the way they were placed on the 2005 the new tiny window they incorporated is useless.
12. NAvigation volume too low cant hear over radio (there probably is a way to fix this I just havent figured it out)
Thanks for listening to my rant![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Wow, I really like the grey interior. I wish they would have made that wood available on the parchment interior. I prefer that darker color vs. the more red color.
Enjoy your new buggy. I don't have time to respond to some of the comments about finding the settings but I'm sure some other folks here will be helpful in giving you advice. Best thing I can recommend in the short term is to go through the menu settings for each item (i.e. GPS) to find the volume controls.
If no one posts back I'll try to get you some answers![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Oh, I noticed it rained the day you picked up your RX. Still looks great!!
Jay
Edit: Ok, just got a few more minutes.
For the NAV voice guidance check out the manual on pgs. 347-349. Talks about changing the volume and the speaker used for the guidance. See if that helps.
For the auto-tilt side mirrors - this is right from the online manuals:
Linked mirror function when reversing
The outside rear view mirrors will automatically angle downwards
is reversing in order to give a better view of the ground. This
when either the “L” or “R” mirror select button is selected.
So you should be able to avoid the tilt if you deselect the L or R setting buttons.
Hope that helps.
