Well Lexus/Toyota stock systems are much better then most other car companies IMO. The ML system is really worth it if you can get your hands on one. In Houston they are non existent! That is the only reason I ordred this car (and waited 3 months!)

The ML sub on the other hand is a big piece of ^%$#. All the ML system needs is a sub upgrade and you will be set.

Nate, I wasn't able to test ML either because, like you said, nobody has one But I ordered it anyway figuring the upgrade would be worth it.

Now with what you did, I'm glad it won't be too hard to bring it up a notch, or three. I love my bass And I know what my first mod will be. Appreciate the help.

I promised myself (and me wifey) that the RX would be limited to wheel & sub mods..

Similar to my old IS350 that I wrecked

Old IS

Our old GS had the ML system and it sounded good. My old IS350 did not. The center (coaxial) and rear speakers really do add alot in the RX. In combination with the surround mode. You will be happy. Just add a sub

Sorry to hear about your IS

I hear ya with the mods. It's too expensive and overall I think the RX looks pretty sweet as is. Maybe just a few little tweeks

Nice pics and mods! I probably live 5-7 mins from you, looks like the Falls at Champion Forest and Vintage Park in some backgrounds. I live in Gleannloch Farms and frequent Vintage Park to eat sometimes (my friends own Peli Peli).

Very nice pictures and mods Tex. I did not even know about the wide angle side view camera.

How are you liking your Ivory interior? I had simular in my LS460 and it got dirty quickly. Around the door handles, etc. Give me dark leather!

I love the dark leather but it gets so hot, I wear shorts all year long so I'm forced to stick with ivory

Very nice pictures. Especially I liked your 20" alloys. May I ask how much did you pay for those extra allows. I'm looking something similar...

Thanks guys for the recent comments!

I too am worried about the light gray interior on the RX getting dirty. I have had black leather on my old IS350 and FJ Cruiser and loved it. Will try my best to keep it clean! We looked at all combos and I felt that the blue and gray looked the best. I liked the espresso color wood and that was only available with the light gray interior.

Sakke, the TSW wheels and Yoko tires set me back around $2K. I thought it was fairly reasonable. I was looking for a simple 20" 5-spoke rim and thought the TSW Vortex was a good match. Cashed in on a yoko rebate they were having last month too. Rides great and looks good too
