The red plastic overflow drain tube should only be hand-tight. If you crank it down with a wrench, you run the risk of cracking it.

I agree with RX in NC. I have performed many drain and fills on this transmission or variations of it on 5 vehicles over the last 14 years and I would not trust any torque wrench on the plastic overflow tube. You are more likely to break it.
Just screw it in with an Allen wrench unti it stops.
I have never found one to have become loose on a subsequent fluid change. 1.7 Newton Meters or 15 inch pounds or 1.5 foot pounds is so small I cannot believe there are many wrenches accurate enought at that little pressure. That really is just finger tight.

Thank you for your response. Actually, I found the torque for plastic overflow. Of course it is very low - only 1.25 ft-lb
