Roll UP windows via remote/alarm?
I know the remote can be programmed to roll the windows down when holding the unlock button but... can the system be programmed to roll the windows UP and close the sunroof when setting the alarm??

I had a VW that did this in the past if the key was inserted into the door and then turned to auto lock all doors and held there, all four windows would roll up as well.
Not sure why that would an unsafe function since each window had a safety closing feature where if any fingers or obstacles where in the way the window closing apparatus would sense the resistance and then stop and re-open.

Yes, Lexus has the same feature.
You can open all windows and sunroof by turning the driver's door key to the unlock position and holding it. You can close all windows and sunroof by turning the driver's door key to the lock position and holding it.
The safety feature is still active, just as if you were closing the windows individually.
Although you can use the remote to open all windows by holding down the unlock button, I don't believe you can use the remote to close all windows, unless that's a new feature.

First of all, the factory remote won't be able to roll up windows. But the remote can open/close the tailgate.
I am worrying about this feature so much.
Although the windows or tailgate do bouce back when hitting or sensing the pressure from the obstacles, sometimes the accidents may still take place. I ever tried a few varied of vehicles and found out each car/brand configure the different threashold, some cars are very sensitive, but others are waiting more pressure from the obstacles before bouncing back. This make you worry if the roll-up windows will bouce back when hitting the kids' fingers.
And, you never know if this so-called safety feature will malfunction.
You can try your fingers to the windows, or stay underneath the tailgate and let your sholder to block it. You can feel how big pressure you will get before the safety feature kicks in.
I never believe the advertisement says that "peach" will stay intact.
