I don't know. The RX interior is much nicer than the X5 imho. The X5 drives more like a sports car, but the best SUV cannot match even a modest sports car. The Laws of Physics prevail. I must admit after 180,000 miles over 10 years I may have been suffering BMW fatigue. Still, I really like the RX. I'm even beginning to enjoy the NAV.
My favorite sports car is the Boxter with a manual tranny, but the thing is so darn impractical. I need to go in snow and haul stuff, and I won't buy multiple vehicles.
I enjoyed my X5s, but I don't miss them.
