Just brought home my 350 (Nav, comfort pkg, AWD, Black Sapphire Pearl) and loving it.
Finance guy tried to sell me a bunch of stuff, and I turned it all down. Should I have?

I have the tire plan on 2 cars--getting 2 new run flats on my other car at 12k miles--more than paid for the coverage..and also it pays for wheel damage which is not cheap either. The tire mfg some coverage but this makes it real easy and clear.

I bought the same car--Nav, AWD, Black sapphire--(what a great color!!) and got a few of the dealer protection things--lojack, clear bra. They are WAAYYY over-priced. I got them for 50% off without much trouble at all, so it makes me think that the mark-up is probably 90%. It's just like any other kind of insurance--gives you some peace of mind but costs a lot. I think the paint protection choices are little more than fancy wax jobs that don't last more than 1/3 a year, and maintenance pkgs on cars like Lexus that have great reliability records aren't worth it, but those are just my own personal opinions.

I usually turn all those things down myself, most of that stuff can be bought later or from someone else for a lower cost.

CRYSTAL FUSION is a scam, i have many complaints they paid for that and still get dings and cracks on their windshield. but the good thing is that they'll pay for the new windshield, of course they won't give you the factory glass.
the prepaid oil changes are a good option to buy if ur dealership offers it.

Not sure about CA, but in MA. Auto glass is cover by insurance anyways with no deductible.
