Blue Tooth Address Book Xfer
My dealer tells me I can transfer my address book to Blue tooth, but I have to do it one entry at a time. Is this true? Does anyone know of a mass transfer technique? I have an Apple 3GS, which works fine, it would just be good to get the whole book transferred more easily. Thanks.

Many of BT phones with HF feature are capable of doing the mass transfer, from your phone to RX. I'm not iPhone user, but I believe some iPhone lovers should be able to show you soon.

I did a mass transfer with my iPhone 3GS. I don't recall the exact steps at the moment and I'm out of town without access to my RX. If you don't figure it out I'll try to take a look next week for you.

Perhaps a silly question: Do you have a nav system? With the nav and after you have paired the iPhone and car, there is a button "Contacts" push it and it loads your address book. You can pair up to four different phones and use four different contacts lists. Only one at a time, depending on the phone paired at the moment.

One more note
If your phone is not on the current list and is a couple of years old, ask your dealer if he can print out the instructions for the 2nd Gen RX. He probably has it in their data base and like mine, it should work fine.

I was told my my dealer yesterday that Verizon does not allow mass transfers to the RX350. I have to do them one at a time.
Anyone with Verizon who's been able to do a mass transfer? If so, please post up!

Verizon Phone Phone Book Transfer
I use Verizon cell sevice here in Massachusetts. My Lexus salesman transferred my entire cell phone contacts in a few seconds to my new 2010 RX. He did it before I was even in the car, but said it was not hard to do. My 2008 ES had issues with the same Verizon cell phone and would not do the transfer. It would seem that the new RX has made some cellular progress.

I'm using Verizon Wireless Storm2. The mass trasnfer is doing fine. (The only problem I have is that sometimes I cannot make a call from RX console or voice command. Well, it doesn't hurt because I don't make a call out when driving. As long as the incoming call can be shown with the proper caller ID from my address books, I'm happy with it.)
