Default audio display

just picked up a 10 RX450h. One thing that is bugging me is that the audio display cannot be kept full-time on the navi screen. After a few seconds the audio screen defaults to whatever screen was up before. Or, am I missing something and there is a way to keep the audio display on?

Yes, there is a way. The manual IS a bit large to read in it's entirety and assimilate, but there is a section in the front (like any large book) that's fairly easy to use. It will show you how to use the 'setup' feature to keep the current screen rather than defaulting to Nav screen.

If you go to that, odds are that you'll see other interesting procedures as well for all the really need gizzmo's the new RX has.

Enjoy

It makes sense that you would be able to keep the audio screen on as a default setting. But, I have been through the set up procedure and manual and can not find a way to do this. I will ask the dealer when I take it for the 1k check up.

If I recall correctly its the option in the settings/general. I think it is the auto screen set to off and it will not go to the nav screen on its own.

Maybe this will help. Scroll to page 336. Yours should look just like this one. https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lex...html&locale=en
