I've had RX350 for a month. 12-speaker premium system. So many options for sound (radio, satellite, MP3 player, iPod, CD, MP3-CD, etc.). I was doing fine with satellite, FM radio, and iPod until I slipped in an audio CD I burned myself. The sound was better, louder, punchier bass. Next I'm going to try a commercial CD.

iPod may be okay, but I have to crank volume up past 50 to get reasonable sound. Anything I can do about that?

When My Ipod touch is playing it's pretty much like the CD's. Maybe you need to check the setting in I-tunes you used to record your selections. Or the settings used to transfer them to your Ipod. I have 'very' good quality.

Oops, I don't like this 12SP system, the sound sucks, and is worse than many of other cars'. In general, I feel the only way to make it work a little better is to play it at loud volume.

make sure you are getting the most out of your setting in the menu, I made a custom cd and played it in the stock stereo and the MArk Levinson, came out of a Bose system car and liked the stock radio better due to the cost increase just wasn;t worth the trouble
