Solved!
I have had two rattles driving me crazy since I bought the car in Decemver. I have searche dthe car and reparied it myself after exus could not. They had it so much it qualifies for the Florida lemon law. HEre are my tow fixes.
Drivers side ratttle was (1) Black plastic window molding was loose around the window making a noise that sounded llike the seat belt was broken. Not to mention the seat ble plastic rattled too. I put double sided tape on the door frame and pushed the molding down on it and stopped that rattle. I put molesking around the seat belt plastic and stooped that rattle.
(2) Front dash was rattling right in front of me. Go down under the dash there is a flimsy plastic piece coveing the electronics. This thing is flapping around like mad and hitting the air vent. I surrounded the vent with foam and pushed more foam between the plastic piece and the car and the rattles have stopped. YOu can also look u8nder the passenger dash and another piece of junky plastic is there rattling away against the car and the clips are so cheap. I used double sided tape and foam to stop this piece from rattling as well.
So silence at last. Sad commentary that Lexus has come to this and as far as JM Lexus is concerned useless and incompetent.
