Like many others, my new RX350 only came with the two key fobs. I hate the bulk in my pocket and would like to but the credit card (smart card) key to keep in my wallet.

Apparently, the dealer charges $269 for this plus an additional $50 to program. Is there a cheaper place to get this?

I'm a little upset that Lexus does not include this for my model, since it is discussed in the owner's manual.

$245. They'll also send you instructions on how to program. Can probably do it yourself.

Any idea how thick this puppy is? If it is much thicker than a credit card, I wouldn't want to have it in my wallet.

$245 is still way to much for this. Oh well...

can't remember since i've put the credit card key away in my desk drawer, but if memory serves me right, it's a little thicker than credit card?

btw, you do NOT want this in your wallet if you place your wallet in your back hip pocket of your pants, or you run the risk of killing it when you sit down. with this credit card key, the wallet has to go in the breast pocket of your jacket.
