Just recieved an email with shipping tracking # and the final cost.

The price for the mudguards is $94.18 CND and your shipping cost is around $28.89.

A nice deal!

Joeb... I received mine today and they're on now. Went pretty easy. I was a little disappointed the part facing the tires have a pocket to catch mud/rocks etc. Other than that everything fit and looks ok.

Also put the side moldings on today so I'm done unless I go with the clear bra.

I just came in the house after installing my set.
Easy install. It's a good thing I bought a 6 piece Torx screwdriver set awhile ago.
That pocket thing you mention must be popular as my Civic oem set has a worse pocket to collect stuff.

To those looking to get a set and do the install, you need a Torx screwdriver for the fronts.I don't know the size.Maybe Lar can tell you but it's the biggest size in the Sears 6 piece set.

Lar,how do you like the moldings?

Not sure what size it is. I used my allen wrench. As far as the pocket goes... I almost didn't put them on, but went ahead. Wonder why they made them like that? Anyway, they went on smooth and solid.

Moldings look great. I think the ones I ordered are a little different than yours. These have one end point sorta. (pointed end goes to the front and smaller pointed piece points to the rear). I don't think it took anything away from the looks and may have added a little on the good side. I like them a lot... thanks for the suggestion.

I'll be installing this today or tomorrow. I have the 3M precut kit covering the hood, front bumper, mirrors and headlights. Looks fairly simple, so we'll see what happens...

I'm trying to find a supplier for the rear bumper, but no luck so far.

The clear bra is definitely worth it. The installer added the A pillars per my request. They did a good job. Might want to go that route with the rear bumper.

Good luck with the install.

Good luck with the install. I'm curious on how it goes. I've heard it's a job especially trying to do it alone. It sounded like you're going to do it yourself. Please keep us posted.

thx

OK, just thought you would want to show off your newly installed mud guards. Glad it went well.

Lar, nice picture. Definitely post some more when you can. Looks like your RX is watching financial news on TV there. Checking the price of oil maybe

Installed. All you need is a Allen Key 4mm and a 10mm socket/ratchet for the front.
For the rear, you need the same 10mm socket/ratchet and a #2 Phillips Screwdriver.
For the front you could turn the wheels left for installing the drivers side and right for the passenger side for more room to access the 4mm allen screws.
Good Luck

Thanks! Sounds like an easy DIY install! Would also appreciate a couple more pics, if possible!

Good eye Anita.(-: Yep, checking the oil prices for future trips... although it's not as important as it was with the 4Runner.

Pictures? What do y'all want to see? Mine is just like yours only maybe a different color.... I am going to get boo-ed if I can find the bug shield for the RX. I just might go with it if I can find one. If anybody has one on their RX450h, I'd like to see a picture of it.

Thanks all,

lar
