Is there a "smoking" version of the RX-350 2010? If so...where is the DC outlet mounted, and where is the ashtray? (not a smoker, but would like a "smoking" version anyway)

if you look at all the papers that came with the car, there is a slip of paper where you have to fill out to get the lighter plug for the outlet. At least this was the case for my 04 RX

They are in the center console. I had a hard time finding in the loaner. USB/Aux is also in there. It's weird to have the USB connection there.

None of the 3Gen RX owners are smokers so Lexus decided to put the power outlet hidden deep inside the center console just in case an owner decided to pickup smoking again and no such option is available.

The reason I'm asking about a smoking version is that I want to be able to plug in a device with one hand while driving. An ashtray is a convenient place for parking stubs, change, etc. The center console is not a convenient place to plug in or retrieve with one hand while driving.

Looks good, except that the power cord would be running across the console to the cup holders.

HOWEVER, we may be getting somewhere....I finally realized that a previous post showing the ashtray on the JDM model is for a right hand drive. Thus, there may be a way to bury that wiring in the console without interfering with other console stuff (such as air ducts, etc.)

Since I will probably keep the car for 5-10 years, this sizeable annoyance is something I'd like to get put to bed....even if I take the car down to a local non-Lexus shop.
