When I use my I-pod (USB), I typically scan through various files (songs) by an artist or play list. When I page down to review what songs are coming up..... the screen is refreshed (with the next set of songs) BUT the song at the top of each refreshed screen automatically starts playing. If you just want to keep scanning through a long play list or song list... this is very irritating. It keeps initiating play for the first song that pops up on each refreshed screen.

Does anyone know of an option that turns this auto-play off for the first song of each page change? Seems like it should just refresh your page and wait for YOU to make a selection....

 

I asked the same question yesterday, only to find that it's a known issue with no known fix.

Pretty much makes using an iPod useless. I'd like to know the name of the genius programmer who signed off on that one.
