Thanks to you, Tex Lex, chrick and others about the advice on the mats. I really wanted the Lexus mats like I had in my 400, but the dealer tells me they have no idea when they may become available again. So, I will look into the Weathertech mats.

I do not have the luxury package and my interior is two tone as well. I guess you just have nicer leather on your seats, ziggy.

the gray in the 350 is not two tone, the gray in the 450h is two tone. it has nothing to do with packages

I apologize for not having picked up on your thread before I posted this. as indicated in your thread, it's kind of surprising that dealers don't point this distinction out when they are trying to market the cars.

Just go to Lexus web site and build one and you will see grey interior is different on the 450 then on 350

I had the factory Lexus all-weather mats, but bought weathertech digital liners. The factory mats didn't cover the dead foot rest and didn't cover much past the accelerator, so lots of dirt and gravel was ending up there.

My observations: the all-weather mats are rubber, thicker and have deeper grooves to "keep your pants leg cleaner". The "digital-fit" are more "plastic-y" and thinner, but I'm sure they'll last the life of your car (as will the rubber mats). They do, however, cover much more surface area as you can see from the pictures, which was my main concern. The only real negative on the digital-fit liners is that the 'fit' ain't so 'digital'--at least mine weren't. I'm kind of fussy and wasn't happy with some of the gaps. The rubber mats don't try to curl up the sides, so a 'sloppy fit' isn't as noticeable.

BTW, if you do get weathertech, I would suggest getting them from AutoAnything or somebody like them. I ordered them straight from the source(MacNiel automotive) and was not at all happy with them (pricing or CS). YMMV

What's nice about the WeatherTech "all weather mats" are the DEEP groves. If you live in an area that gets snow and slush, with the deep groves, the water is not on the surface of the mat to drag your pant legs in.

I only use them in the winter saving the standard mats for the nicer weather.

I really like the interior in the first picture... I think the black carpet looks so much better than the gray carpet with the black mats...
