How to remove upper center light panel?
I'm going to hardwire my Valentine One and would like to tap into the rearview mirror switched power. Just ordered the hardwire harness from ebay so should be pretty simple to install after I can correctly remove the panel and find the switched power wire. I'm sure it's held by clips but I don't want to use incorrect force and damage the delicate clips. I've searched and haven't found anyone who has examples on how to remove the upper center light panel for the 2010 RX350. Any ideas?

Ok thanks, you are right. I notice there is a square cover over where the wire goes into the back of the mirror. Does that pop or slide off? I just tried a bit of force and it's not budging. Thanks.

Ok nevermind I figured out how to remove the small plastic cover. Using a small flathead screwdriver, I was able to carefully pop it out by wedging it into the sides and pushing it out. Now I can clearly see the exposed harness.
Popping out the wire harness, there are 10 wires. Unless someone knows which wires to tap into for the 12v switch and ground, then I'll have to wait to get a light tester this week to figure it out. But the wire coloring are as follows with the harness facing you:
Top L to R: Blue, Pink, Brown, Orange, Red, Black
Bottom L to R: Tan, White, Green, Yellow, Purple, Gray
