No, I don't play soccer!
Was it still cheaper after Lexus added Enform last August? That was another $600. But for what you get, including the donut spare, I'm not complaining. It's a world of difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen and I like it

Who among us has been able to utilize the 5 wheel rotation and thereby gaining some plusses on having the 5th wheel?
I still have the original 18" 5 spoke rim with the new Michelin tire sitting in my spare wheel location.
Lexus caught on by reducing the cost and weight. The dealers (most if not all) themselves are part of the problem by not rotating using the 5 wheel method.
Who uses them buy new tires or to rotate and balance tires? 10, 20% of us?

I do not go to my dealer to get new tires. I go to a reliable tire shop.

mandyfig, my spare was never part of the rotation. I used it only once in 12 years and was on the way to the dealer when it happened. How convenient.
I also have a local guy I go to for tires. But I have to say, I was at the dealer last October for minor service and wound up changing the tires for peace of mind. Well, it turns out the dealer was cheaper than my local guy's cost. Plus I had a coupon for free alignment and received a percentage off the total. Dealers are getting more aggressive with their pricing. I wouldn't rule them out automatically.

I have never touched my spare either. I dont change at the dealer either because they usually only keep the goodyears RSAs in stock for the RX. Last time I asked for the michelines, they charged me a bit more because they had to order them.
Once I found out that Costco carries the same Michelines, I went there.

Costco has the Alenza's on sale, $70 off for a set of 4! That's a good deal.
