Default Zzzzz noise when exiting RX 350

Hello,

I've come to notice a "motorized" noise when I am exiting the car. When I press the off button to turn off the car, I hear a noise and see the steering wheel move up, the chair moves back for easy exit and the "joy stick" for the nav moves back to center. When I pull the door handle to exit there is a ZZZ sound that happens, what is moving when I hear this sound?

Not a big deal, I'd just like to know so I won't touch that spot and stop something from moving when it should. Much like when I make a quick exit out of the car, I won't rest my hand on the steering wheel as I exit because I know the steering wheel is raising.

Its the electronic steering wheel lock. Same feature as other cars except you have to turn the steering wheel until it locks.

note that it is okay to touch the steering wheel when it is retracting. Its not going to stop moving even if you give it a lot of resistance.

Default Steering wheel movement

I am recovering from a total shoulder replacement (ball and socket) and found it painful to do up my seatbelt in my 450h. I got the dealer to get me a Lexus seatbelt extension and I plug my seatbelt into it, which solved my problem. However, if the seatbelt extension is in place, it fools the steering wheel so that it does not move when I exit the vehicle. To get the steering wheel to move in the normal fashion when exiting the vehicle, I have to remove the seatbelt extension. Life's little annoyances!
