Like many other,if not all luxury and even cheaper crossover/SUV's,the RX should have dual exhaust for a nice rear look.
I happy the '10 doesn't have the chrome exhaust tip.Hides the fact the RX should have dual exhaust a bit.

I agree they should be on a luxury vehicle like the RX. I was surprised they hadn't gone to dual tips on the ES350. I think all other Lexus and Toyota vehicles with the 3.5 engine (maybe with the exception of RAV4 and Sienna) have dual exhaust.

I agree that would be a nice touch. Also agree putting a chrome tip on one is stupid.
The ES350 does have dual with chrome tips and it's a less expensive car. Go figure.

Does the ES350 have true dual exhaust or is it like my new Camry LXE that has a y pipe under the trunk to split the last 2 to 3 feet of pipe into a dual exhaust look.the trunk to split the last 2 to 3 feet of pipe into a dual exhaust look. A ture dual exhaust system would add more weight to the car and Lexus would at 1K to the car or more for all the things that they would have to add to it.

Y pipe but that's fine.
The dual pipe chrome tip look works.

Yep. So does the Camry V6, Avalon, Venza V6, Lexus IS (250 & 350), GS (all) and LS (all). Yeah it's more of a styling thing with many of the models, but kind of expected these days.

The only reason I would prefer a dual exhaust would be to reduce back pressure, in other words to gain some horsepower. The aesthetic value is not a big thing with me. On the LS, my car had the very stylish dual pass-through SS exhaust trims formed into the bumper cover. Alas, the only time I could appreciate this redundancy was when I washed the car. I'm sure if Lexus hears the enthusiasts' outcry enough times, duals will make their way into design and production.
