Default Lease Calculations, good deal or not?

I just purchased RX350 with nav and some other extras. MSRP was $48452, I had a 2008 RX which I loved, which I had 14 months left on my lease. Anyway my thought was to get rid of it now since by the end of lease I would have gone over with miles.

I saw a thread that mentioned a Money factor be 0022. Residual, botton line price. I still owed $26000 on the lease. They gave me $24000.00 for my 2008 w/o nav. and with all the inception fees, etc. I still had to come up with the deficit. So $3400. later and $620 a month 36 mos. 15k a year and residual is approx 25K.

This transaction took place this pass sunday and the salesman told me I only have a 720 credit score when I know it a lot higher also I mention $ 1000 Lexus loyalty he said I didn't qualify.

Did I get taken advantage or was it average.

Any Info will be greatly appriciated.

Only have a 720 score? I would consider that a good score. Seems like the salesman has some elitist issues with that "extremely low" score. /sarcasm off

did they raise the score requirement for tier 1+? i know a few years ago 720 will get you into tier 1+ but that might have been changed

My credit score is less than 720 and I gave back my leased 2008 RX, offered them $3000 paying $550/month for 36 months 12K a year... If i had done 15K/year the monthly payments would've gone up to $600.

720+ is still the top tier, they have not changed it.

Thank you so much. I feel much better now. Also how do you like the 2010 vs 2008. I feel the 2010 is much heavier bulkier more of SUV feel where as the 2008 was softer smoother more quick manuverable. I love the Nav. please send me your thoughts I'm curious to know. Thanks
