Default Song Doesn't play if file size is over 15mb on USB Drive

I put some songs on my hard drive, and one folder has some songs that are large most are over 15mb and it doesn't seem like the system picks it up.

Anyone was successful with playing large mp3 files on their rx350?

Not sure if this is related. But, teh owner manual Page 328 indicates some of limitations on USB. If your 15 MB USB storage has reached any limitations of those, maybe that's why it's not working.

I use a digital recorder to record from music stations on my cable TV service. Put them on my iPod and play them thru USB on my RX. Largest one I have is about 3 hours, 128mb or so. No problem.

What sort of recorder do you use for this? How do you transfer the files to your iPod?

I have an old Archos Jukebox. Sold as an MP3 and video player, but has capability for line-in recording to MP3. Only a few modern MP3 players have line-in recording.

Result is an MP3 file that you can import into iTunes, and then synch to your iPod.
