I ordered a K & N filter through my local Canadian Tire here in Vancouver. Lordco had no listing yet. The person I talked to at CT said they have an account with K & N and could order one. She said it would likely cost $80 to $100. I asked them to get an actual price and it turned out to be $55, which you have to pay in advance for a special order. I've seen them online for $49 + $20 shipping, so Canadian Tire is a good deal.
Installing the filter improved the dismal city mileage slightly. But then, the current filter sucked up a lot of dust during a summer road trip.

Billy, there's nothing wrong with the Lexus OEM filter; there are better ones out there. However, if you require higher quality or push your car harder than normal (hills, dirt roads, etc...), there are solutions available. Another solution is to change your filter more often than specified. It's a personal preference and decision.
