I'm with Johnny on the sport package. I like the tightness in the steering and really don't have a problem with the ride. Then again, I'm not into pampering my butt My 450h has the Dunlops. I will go with Michelins or something comparable next time around. The seats did take a little getting used to but overall they're fine after a few adjustments.

Having come from a 330 with the performance package, IMO the ride on the '10 is definitely better.

Drive my Honda S2000 for a few blocks and your RX will feel like a lazyboy.

I totally agree since I also have a Honda S2000 (2002 version with the 9000 rpm redline) which I really enjoy for quite a different driving experience. I suspect you will agree that the Honda handles somewhat better . What year is yours?

I also have a 2002. Yes does handle a wee bit better. Ride is nowhere near as good though. It's definitely a fun little car. You should check out www.s2ki.com if you haven't already. A wealth of information.

Thanks for the link, I was not aware of it. I love having the opportunity to enjoy the almost completely opposite best features of both cars, picking which one to drive depending on my mood, the characteristics of the route I'm going to take, and the purpose of the trip. Have fun with your S2K and your RX.

I also have to ask: Do you have the sport suspension? If not, do you used to drive the super soft (suspension) American sedan?

I have the 2010 RX450h as a loaner for two weeks now, it has the 19" wheel no sport suspension, the ride to me is on the soft side. Bumpy? no, but floaty, yes. Often I feel car sick driving it because the soft suspension on RX450h... go figure.

Default Bumpy ride

I have a 2008 RX 350 that I've had for 2 years. It has the 18" wheels. The ride feels like I'm on a washboard. At first I thought it was the Goodyear tires, but replaced with Toyo and it did not improve much at all. I now have about 12K on the new tires and it's only getting worse. The tire store says they have road force balanced the tires and they are under 10. Lexus claims it's the tires. The guy at the tire store said I should check to make sure the strut is not blown. Oddly enough, I have been telling Lexus about a noise coming from the front -- sort of a clunk noise. They replaced the strut cover but the noise has returned. Does anyone think that the bumpy ride could be the result of a blown strut? The car is not bouncing way up a down, but does not feel smooth. I'm thinking about trading for a Q5 I'm so frustrated with this. I can't believe that this is how a Lexus 350 is supposed to drive.
