That's not always true. Mine (RX450h), came from Japan with Michelin's. They had two on the lot this past week and both of them had Michelin's as well. But I know some have had Dunlop's such as Anita's. So it's luck of the draw.
My RX is J built in 8/09, came with Bridgestones. After riding in my RX, my folks ended up buying a similarly optioned J built RX built in 9/09 which came with Dunlops.
I replaced my Bridgestones with Michelins and driven my folks' RX with Dunlops, Michelin is the way to go.
