Install is tomorrow.I've used this guy before and he is great. He does say that no bra will not yellow a bit no matter if it's Ventureshield or 3M who now owns Ventureshield.
Proper care plays a big part on longevity.
Joe,
How is the Ventureshield holding up? I am planning on getting one. Thanks.

Default The Lexus clear product

My original equipment Lexus material has bubbled and looks a mess on the hood, and both mirrors. An attempt by the dealer to reapply came out even worse. Not sure who manufactured the Lexus logo material but don't buy it.

The Dealer did refund the purchase price of the original installation.

It's only been a few months but it's looks great. Not noticeable on my silver paint.
I'm OCD with my vehicles and have plenty of coats of an abrasive free sealant with UV40 on the Venturshield.

probably not the fault of the material but of the installation. Did the dealer do it or did they hire a 3rd party? I wouldnt trust the dealer themselves to do it.

My dealer has a third party do the installation and they did a great job. I've gotten compliments on it. Next time though I am going custom rather than pre-cut. It's virtually undetectable on Tungsten Pearl but having it wrap around the edges would be nice.

Default Done in Jacksonville

My RX was done by JM in the Jacksonville, FL port distribution facility. Just was done poorly and bubbled. Really disappointed me in the lack of quality. Quality control seems to be a Toyota issue in this region.

Of course my wife tells me she does not have the same problems with 'HER BMW.'

We had ours put on at the dealer. More expensive, yes, but they've been working with the same company for years and have had no complaints. It was easier to use someone they considered reliable for the installation, which, if bad negates even the best product.

I am thinking about g getting it. My dealer quoted $800 and I said no thanks. On EBay there is a completer set of 3M listed for $250 and they might take $225. I might try the Orlando installer add see if it is worth me getting the set and asking him to install.

This is what I bought. I paid $240 I think from the same guy. The kit was cut pretty good. Installation was very simple for hood, fenders and mirrors. But bumper is painful due to the shape and stretching required. I almost thought I wasted it but somehow managed to finish it with a couple of bad spots. Not too bad but you can see the bad spots if you get close. But the hood, fenders and mirrors are almost invisible. Good Luck.
